New details have been released following Monday’s shooting at Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket. According to law enforcement statements reported by the Associated Press and other regional outlets on February 17, two civilians were killed and three others were injured during the incident. The suspect also died at the scene from what authorities described as an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred on Monday, February 16, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m. during a high school hockey game being held at the arena.

Pawtucket Police have identified the suspected shooter as Robert K. Dorgan, also known as Roberta Esposito, according to reporting by the Associated Press on February 17.
